1) Reasonably adjust the coating speed of the glue machine. The glue machine should adjust the speed of the glue roller appropriately according to the type of glue and the thickness of the veneer during use. Generally, the glue speed of the glue solution with high viscosity should be slower to prevent uneven glue coating on the surface of the veneer. When coating thin veneers, the glue coating speed can be faster.
2) Reasonably adjust the pressure of the glue roller on the veneer. When applying glue to a veneer, applying appropriate pressure to the veneer using a glue roller is beneficial for the surface glue layer to be uniform and not missed. However, for veneers of different thicknesses, the pressure applied by the glue roller should be different. For thin veneers, the pressure of the glue roller on the veneer should be reduced to prevent it from being crushed. When the glue application speed is high, the pressure of the glue roller on the veneer should be reduced.
3) Reasonably adjust the gap between the squeezing roller and the coating roller. There is a speed difference between the squeezing roller and the coating roller, which plays a role in scraping off excess glue on the surface of the coating roller and controlling the amount of glue applied. But the gap between the two should be adjusted appropriately according to the different types of glue. The gap of the glue with high viscosity should be adjusted larger, and the gap of the glue with low viscosity should be adjusted smaller to prevent the glue from leaking out of the gap.
4) Reasonably control the amount of glue in the glue tank. The amount of glue in the glue tank has a certain impact on the amount of glue attached to the surface of the glue roller. Usually, the amount of glue in the glue tank should be able to ensure good adhesion of the grooves of the bottom glue roller. Too little glue in the glue tank can reduce the amount of glue adhering to the surface of the glue roller, resulting in uneven distribution or missed coating of the glue layer on the surface of the veneer; Excessive amount of glue can cause the surface of the glue roller to have too much glue, resulting in waste of glue solution. For glue coating machines with upper extrusion rollers, the groove between the upper extrusion roller and the glue coating roller is used to store the glue solution, and the amount of glue in this groove should be reasonably controlled by adjusting the amount of glue delivered.
